WARRENS, Wis. – Five children in a Jeep Grand Cherokee were injured, two of them critically, when the vehicle went into the ditch near Jellystone Park Drive, struck a culvert, and overtured. The most severely injured children were airlifted to a LaCrosse hospital. The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office said the driver was heading west on County Highway EW, near the ramp onto Interstate 94 from the Jellystone campground and resort. The driver lost control while taking a curve, officers said. Highway EW was closed 1-1/2 hours.
