WABASHA, Minn. – A teen-age skate-boarder, a girl, was struck and killed by a vehicle about 10 p.m. near Isaac Walton Park. Police tried without success to save her with chest resuscitation. The girl was pronounced dead at the Wabasha hospital. Police Chief Joe Stark declined to release the names of people in the accident immediately. He did confirm, however, that the girl was 15. The accident was on Grant Boulevard West.
