MADISON, Wis.  –A dorm fight has led to the dismissal of two University of Wisconsin freshmen football players from the team — Loyal Crawford and Antwan Roberts. Police said Crawford had a knife, although there were no stab or slash injuries. Crawford was charged with and disorderly conduct while armed. Crawford, a halfback from Eau Claire, and Roberts, a running back from Nashville, Tennessee, were three-star recruits. The fight was August 21. After his arrest Crawford tweeted that he was merely defending himself and was being treated unfairly. “I want everyone to know that,” he said. “They didn’t even want to hear my side.” He later deleted the tweet.
