Crash in first wave of evening commute
MINNETONKA, Minn. –A Burnsville mab was killed after he lost control of his vehicle, struck a concrete wall, and collided with a school bus. Of the 22 children being driven home from school, none was hurt. Nor was the school bus driver: Terrance John Lee, 71, of Prior Lake. Killed in the car was the driver, Vicente Ortiz Calderon, 57. He was driving a 1999 Isuzu Rodeo. The accident was a little before 4 p.m. on snow-slickened Highway 62 at Shady Oak Rad in the Minneapolis west suburb of Minnetonka. Both vehicles landed in the median strip of the four-lane highway.
