LESUEUR, Minn.  – A LeSueur man who bragged to snowmobile buddies that he had killed his dad was sentenced to 25 years in prison. Hardy Wills-Traxler, 27, earlier had pleaded guilty before Judge Patrick Biren, who issued the sentence. The father had been knifed over and over in the chest and belly. The body was then lifted onto a cooking stove and the burners ignited. Wills-Traxler said there had been an argument. How the argument turned violent wasn’t clear. Although the son claimed self-defense, investigators said he  had no bruises. This was at a rural house January 2021.
