WINONA, Minn. — The search for a new president for the dual-campus Minnesota State College Southeast has been scuttled. The chancellor of the state colleges system, Scott Olson, said none of the four finalists won sufficient campus support after on-campus interviews. Olson plans to visit the Winona and Red Wing campuses himself to decide how to restart the search from scratch. The presidency becomes vacant this summer when Marsha Danielson retires. Her five years had early rough-sledding with staff objections to abrasive management. The campuses have 45 full-time faculty.
