SPARTA, Wis. – Fire Chief Mike Arnold ruled a kitchen fire at Great Wall Buffet accidental. Arnold said the fire started on a grill as a cook worked on to-go orders. The cook tried water and clothing to stop the fire, but flames were already at the ceiling and spreading to the roof. The fire was reported by a 911 call from a nearby tavern.
