ST.PAUL, Minn. – The president of the Minnesota Association of Professional Employees, which represents about 15,000 white-collar state workers, said the Covid vaccination requirement ordered by Governor Tim Walz for state employees should have involved more consultation. Megan Dayton said her union members seem accepting of the requirement. Even so, she added, there are many questions about whether policy was as thought-through as it should have been.
