WINONA, Minn. – A mother who reportedly chased her 15-year-old son around their apartment and who, when he barricaded himself in a bedroom, pounded on door and stabbed a knife into the door five times. Police found the woman nearby, sitting on the sidewalk and smoking a cigarette. Christina Ann Pacheco, 42, admitted to the situation, police said.  She was booked for domestic assault and terroristic threats. The boy was unhurt, police said. This was about 2:50 a.m. in the 450 block of West Sanborn Street. This, according to the boy, was what happened

> The mother came home drunk from a bar. An argument ensued.

> To separate himself, the boy ran to his bedroom and closed the door.

> The mother tried to enter, but the boy pressed himself against the bedroom door to keep her out.

> She retreated to the kitchen, where the boy, through his bedroom door, could hear her rustling through silverware.

> She returned to the boy’s door with a steak knife.

> The boy kept pushing against his bedroom door to keep it closed.

> The mother again pounded at the door and stabbed  the knife into the wood.

> The mother slammed her way out of the apartment.

Police found the steak knife embedded in the son’s door. There was other damage to the door too, police ad. The boy was picked by relatives for at least the rest of the night. He told police that he and his mother generally had a god relationship but sometimes argued.
