SPARTA, Wis.—A Milwaukee man, Eric Borges pleaded not guilty in a case stemming from the downtown shooting death of a Sparta man, Anthony Koopman, during a drug deal in June. Borges was charged with armed robbery and distributing meth. He was one of three Milwaukee people accused in the case. Allegedly they traveled to Sparta to make the deal. Earlier Michael Hartmann and Damara Skenandore-Medina also pleaded not guilty.
