AUSTIN, Minn. – An Austin man captured after a nine-hour standoff with police December 15 pleaded not guilty to the knifing death of his teen-age stepson just before the standoff. The judge delayed scheduling a trial for Jamie Vaca, 27. He was ordered held in the Mower County jail.
