MINNEAPOLIS — Governor Tim Walz said he is encouraged at new state data on CoVid and might consider easing restrictions on bars and restaurants. In an interview on radio station WCCO, Walz said a major factor in a decision will be positivity rates from testing. He called the new data “incredibly encouraging.” Hospitalization numbers also are “a huge factor in determining what’s next,” the governor said. Expect a decision Tuesday or Wednesday, he said.
