WINONA, Minn. –Winona County health officials are trying to crack the mystery of the slowing demand for Covid inoculations. Melanie Tatge, county public health supervisor, said there are people who haven’t heard the message on the value of vaccination or who are unconvinced.  “It could just be the vaccine hesitancy that comes with any vaccine,” Tatge said in a KWNO radio interview. “We’ve been really trying to provide education on the safety. the efficacy of these vaccines to overcome that.”  Tatge said the locations of vaccine clinics may be an obstacle for people who don’t have transportation.
