WINONA, Minn. – Sixty-nine new coronavirus cases were confirmed in Winona County by the state Department of Health. The new cases broke a four-digit psychological landmark, going beyond 2,000 to 2,055. Infections have been accelerating exponentialluy. The first four-digit mark, 1,000, took six months. The second 1,000 took less than six weeks.
