LACROSSE, Wis. –A Winona man was arrested and charged with sexually assaulting a teen-age girl in June. Zachary D. Beyerstedt, 33, was charged also with exposing exposing his pudenda to a child. The girl told police that Beyerstedt pressured her into intimacy, touched her inappropriately, and dropped his pants in the presence of the child. There apparently was more than one encounter. Unknown to Beyerstedt, the girl recorded one of them, police said. Beyerstedt has been released on $10,000 bail. The charges carry as many as 43-1/2 years in prison.
