WINONA, Minn. – The Winona State University homecoming weekend begins October 7 with a banquet to honor alumni who graduated 50 years ago. The alums will be inducted into the new Enduring Flame Society by university President Scott Olson. These Class of 1970 and 1971 alums get a free meal. Eveyrbody else pays $20. Other homecoming highlights:
Friday: River trip on the university’s Cal Fremling.
Saturday: Huff Street parade at 10 a.m.
Football: Warriors v. Northern State of Iowa at 2 p.m.
