WINONA, Minn. – A study of automobile speeds in Lake Park found general compliance with the 30 mph posted signs. Two vehicles, however, were tracked at more than 65. The study was ordered by the City Council after complaints. These are the average speeds of drivers within the 85th percentile at three points:
> West of Washington Street: 31.6 mph.
> Near the bandshell: 26.6 mph.
> Near the Jaycee shelter: 28.5 mph.
