WINONA, Minn. – Of 35,000 Co-Vid vaccine doses due in Minnesota next week, some should make its way to Winona, said Winona Health executive Rachelle Schultz. The doses are going to 100 sites. Schultz said she’ll have firmer information by the end of the week. She credited the next batch of doses to a coalition of regional hospitals that pressed the state Health Department for vaccine after it was announced that only nine sites were in a priority line statewide. “Our arguments were heard,” Schultz said in an interview on radio station KWNO. Winona Health has begun inoculating people 75 and older but expects to run out of first-time doses Tuesday.
