APPLETON, Wis. – An autopsy confirmed that Jovanni Frausto, 19, of Neenah, died from two gunshot wounds in a shopping mall shooting Sunday. One was a chest wound. Meanwhile, his mother, Tanya Frausto, was raising money for a funeral on the GoFundMe crowdfunding site. Donations have reached $16,000 toward a $20,00 goal

Paraphrased from GoFundMe: “I am a single mother of 4. I never expected to have to bury my 19-year-old son to gun violence. This would cover his viewing and his cremation expenses. Anything would help and be greatly appreciated. This is a difficult time for our family and we ask for your prayers. I increased the amount to help pay for bills as I am not sure how I will work I need some grievance time thanks to all who donated much appreciate. As I’m thinking a little more about what I want for my son I would like to get a headstone, grave site as well so we can go visit him whenever we want. I just want to make sure everything is covered and we won’t have anything to give Jovanni the most because he means the most to me.”
