DES MOINES, Iowa – A 17-year-old arrested in Des Moines agreed to go back to Wisconsin to face a murder charge for a shopping mall shooting over the weekend. Dezman Ellis waived extradition before a judge, who informed him about the murder charge. Ellis then was returned a cell. In Appleton, Wisconsin, meanwhile, two teams of Outagamie County investigators prepared to leave for Des Moines to pursue details on the arrest and what Ellis told police – and to escort him in cuffs to Wisconsin for a first court appearance next week.
