WINONA, Minn. – The state Health Department reported 135 new COVID-19 cases in Winona County the week ending June 10.  The new cases brought the county’s pandemic total to 13,687. Most cases are a weaker strain than the initial 2021 round that took 74 lives in the county. There have been no recent deaths., New vaccines have blunt the effect of the virus. Public health tracking says 64.1% of Winonans residents have received at least one dose of a vaccine, 61.4% have received a full vaccine.
