WABASHA, Minn. –Wabasha County Sheriff Rodney Bartsh announcing his retirement when his current term expires early next year. Bartsch has been sheriff 20. Bartsh said he plans “to put a greater emphasis on my family,” noting they had often taken a “backseat” to his job. Candidates have until late May to file for a place in the November ballot.
