ROCHESTER, Minn. – A Dover man accused in a brutal bar fight Wednesday was arraigned on two counts of third-degree assault and obstructing the legal process. The judge set bail for Joseph Martin, age 31, at $200,00. Prosecutors argued that Martin was a danger to public safety. Also they said, he was a danger to the two men he beat up at the Road Trip Bar in Dover. The criminal complaint said Martin left both men dazed and defenseless by knocking them unconscious with multiple punches on the head. He struck one of the men after he began to regain consciousness, and kept assaulting the second man even after he had been knocked out, the complaint said.
