EAU CLAIRE, Wis. – A police report details a naked man’s deranged attack on a 74-year-old man at a farmers market Saturday. According to the criminal complaint, Jesse Olson, 32, attacked the man unprovoked as the man was walking with his his wife at the Phoenix Park open market. Olson took the man down and began hitting him. Olson then grabbed the man’s wife. The man jumped between the two. Olson took the man down again and resumed pounding him. When police arrived, Olson was heading towards a group of people with clenched fists. Olson kicked officers. Police handcuffed him. First responders used a sedative to calm him. The 74-year-old man was bruised and bleeding but chose not go to the hospital. Olson was shirtless at the time, but video showed him walking around naked in the park earlier. Olson remains jailed on a $2,500 bond. Police said Olson is a repeat offender on such charges.
