MINNEAPOLIS – A child porn solicitor, producer and trafficker, who was once a sheriff’s deputy in Winona, was sentenced to 20-plus years in federal prison. Nathan Miller Dobbelmann, 40, had admitted to using social media apps to contact children and solicit them to send him sexually explicit images and videos of themselves. It was also alleged that Dobbelmann sent explicit videos of himself along with sexually graphic text messages to children. The criminal complaint also alleged that Dobbelmann joined online chat rooms and platforms to “discuss and trade child pornography files. U.S. District Judge Donovan Frank issued the sentence. In Winona, Dobbelmann had been a deputy county jailer. His criminal record is long with domestic abuse, weapons, and drug charges.
