WINONA, Minn. – At the June 30 mid-point of 2021 Winona County had recorded 4,618 cases of Covid since the pandemic began. There were 52 deaths. The good news, marking the virus retreat: Only four cases have in the final week of June – and no deaths. The state Health Department said 56.4% of Winona County resident over 16 had received a full series of the Covid vaccines introduced during the winter.
