RUSHFORD, Minn. – Donald Henry Laumb, of Rushford, a teacher for 36 years, who started in LaCrosse and later taught at Preston and Rushford Peterson high schools, died at age 76. He held two degrees in industrial arts from Winona State University. His subjects: Math, auto mechanics, building trades, drafting, woodwork and life skills. He guided many adult woodworking classes at River Valley Vocational Co-operative. He was a co-op director several years. He also trained truckers in Saudi Arabia for Arab American Oil. Besides teaching, he farmed all his life.
