EYOTA, Minn. – Merlin “Bozy” David Burt, of Eyota, who with his wife built and operated Hilltop Poultry, a federally inspected poultry plant on their farm .died at home. He was 82. In 2001 the couple opened Burt’s Meats in Eyota. At age 17, he enlisted in the Army with seven buddies from Utica and served two years. Besides farming most of his entire adult life. he drove truck for many years.
