ST. PAUL, Minn. – Governor Tim Walz, who has asked the Legislature to legalize marijuana, didn’t let 420 go unnoticed. On April 20, a date that pot-users celebrate marijuana, Walz sent this one-line Twitter feed to his followers: “It’s time to legalize adult-use cannabis and expunge cannabis convictions.” Walz got loads of feedback, some applauding him, some far from it. The Walz proposal includes creating a state agency to oversee recreational marijuana.
