GOODVIEW, Minn. – A city advisory about water at the Lake Village trailer court, issued Tuesday evening, was sent in an abundance of caution, said public works director Dave Schutz. The water probably was OK, but, Schutz said, there was a remote possibility that emergency repairs on a valve could have become a problem. An all-clear bulletin was issued within a few hours. He said that a crew had been testing valves when one broke. A hose was used to re-route water around the broken valve.
