WINONA, Minn. – The assistant athletic director at Bellarmine University in Kentucky, Melanie Brunsdon, was named associate athletic director at Winona State. .At Bellarmine she oversaw compliance along with direct supervision over the men’s and women’s golf programs. She was on the university Title IX Committee. Earlier she was at Lewis University in Illinois, also with compliance responsibilities. Brunsdon has experience with the Northern Sun league to which Winona State belongs — at Minot State and Upper Iowa. She holds a degree in sport management and psychology from Northwestern College in Iowa.
